Children's Area
Petey's PlacePetey is the Sheperd's dog. Everyone who visits the Shepherd home knows Petey. He was born on February 14, 1994. Petey is very mild-mannered and is well-deserving of being named the mascot of the Carolina in the Fall Festival. Petey spends his days with Festival Producer Robert Shepherd and together they look after the Shepherd Farm and the Carolina in the Fall Festival site. During the festival, you can often find Petey relaxing on stage while the music is in full swing. Petey will be hosting the children's area, Petey's Place, and would like to invite all of the children to come and have fun.
In Petey's Place Children's Area, special activities and performances are scheduled for children of all ages. Everything in Petey's Place is free and the activities include: storytime, face painting, arts and crafts activities, games, and special performances by festival musicians!April Johnson, a certified elementary school teacher, is Coordinator of Petey's Place Children's Area and is taking care of all activities, so make sure to stop by Petey's Place with your children. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
