Carolina in the Fall would like to
honor, remember, and recognize
those brave souls who have devoted
their time and lives to
serving and protecting our country.


The United States Flag
that was flown during
the 2006 Carolina in the Fall Festival
is In Memory of the Thirteen Soldiers
of 1st Battalion,
26th Infantry,
1st Infantry Division
who gave their lives fighting in Samarra, Iraq.
The flag was flown on September 11, 2004
over Forward Operating Base Brassfield-Mora, Samarra, Iraq.
